The SHORE and Whariki Research Centre is contracted by the Ministry of Health to provide evaluation training plus organisational and individual support for the public health workforce and community organisations with a public health focus (targeting communities, groups and environments rather than the delivery of personal health services).
There is no charge for this training and organisation support.
Two workshop options are offered:
- The three day Easy Evaluation workshop
- One day workshops (Programme Planning Logic workshop and Building Your Evaluation workshop).
You should choose either the three day course or the one day options.
- The three day Easy Evaluation workshop provides an introduction to evaluation. Topics covered include: Planning and Programme logic development, Building Your Evaluation, data collection and drawing evaluative conclusions.
- The Planning and Programme Logic workshop focuses on project planning and logic modelling. (This content is also covered in the three day Easy Evaluation workshop).
- The Building Your Evaluation workshop looks at how to use your logic model to develop an evaluation plan. (This content is also covered in the three day Easy to Evaluation workshop). This workshop is suitable for participants who have attended a Planning and Programme Logic workshop or attended a three-day course or have some other experience in the development of logic models.
