WHO Collaborative Study on Alcohol and Injuries (2000-2002)

SHORE researchers provided technical coordination during the implementation of an international study examining alcohol related injury among emergency department attendees They were also involved in data analysis and the writing of the final report. Twelve countries (Argentina, Brazil, Belarus, Canada, China, Czech Republic, India, Mexico, Mozambique, New Zealand, South Africa and Sweden) participated. Data collection for the New Zealand component was funded by the Alcohol Advisory Council.
