In
New Zealand significant increases in drinking and alcohol related
harm have occurred for young people. It is in this context
that the Ministry of Health has been bringing together its
alcohol promotions service providers based in Auckland, along
with SHORE researchers, to develop collaborative community
action initiatives, focussed on reducing alcohol-related harm
for young people in the Auckland Region. These community action
initiatives draw on current evidence-based research.
