Pacific
Drugs Alcohol and Gambling Survey 2003
The
Pacific Drugs and Alcohol Survey 2003 provided a picture of
the patterns of alcohol and drugs use, including tobacco,
kava, marijuana and other drugs, gambling and related harms.
This
webpage provides PDF files of the findings of the survey in
the form of the full
report, an executive
summary and posters which present the survey findings for Alcohol
Drinking, Marijuana and Other Drug Use, Tobacco
Smoking and Gambling. (The Pacific
survey posters were designed by Bronson Yandall, Paradigm Associates
Limited). There are also factsheets available reporting findings
for Cook Islands Maori , Niuean, Samoan and Tongan respondents.
This
survey was funded by Public Health Intelligence of the Ministry
of Health and the Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs. SHORE
was subcontracted to carry out, analyse and report the findings
of this survey by Pacific Research & Development Services.
