Manaaki Manawa Evaluation

Manaaki Manawa is a kaupapa Maori community based cardiac rehabilitation service designed to address issues of access to and uptake of Phase II cardiac rehabilitation services for Maori with heart disease in Te Tai Tokerau (Northland).

Whariki have been contracted by Manaia PHO to undertake a process and impact/outcome evaluation of the service over a two year period commencing 1 May 2006.

Te Tai Tokerau PHO, Manaia PHO and the National Heart Foundation are funding the evaluation of the service.
