Gambling
Social Marketing Project
The
Centre for Social and Health Outcomes Research and Evaluation
(SHORE) and Te Ropu Whariki (The Whariki Research Group) were
contracted by the Ministry of Health in 2006 to provide a
literature review and formative qualitative research to inform
the design and development of a social marketing programme
around the reduction of harm from gambling in Aotearoa New
Zealand.
This
main components of the research were a review of relevant
literature, qualitative research with different populations
in Auckland, Rich Dialogue Process with stakeholders and an
environmental scan of representations of gambling which are outlined in the following report:
