Social Marketing Project
Invitation
to Participate
The Centre for Social and Health Outcomes Research and Evaluation
(SHORE) and Te Ropu Whariki (Whariki Research Group) have been
contracted by the Ministry of Health to carry out research that
will be used in the development of a social marketing programme
that aims to encourage New Zealanders to make healthy lifestyle
choices in relation to gambling. We need Pakeha, Maori, Pacific,
Chinese and Korean people who live in the Auckland region, 16
years and over, and engage in any type of gambling (Lotto, pokies,
Housie etc), at any level, to take part in a 1-1½
hour research interview. We are also interested in interviewing
whanau/family/friends of people who gamble.
Interviews will be held from 24th April-16th June
All information you provide is confidential. Your name and details
will not be used.
