Formative and outcome/impact evaluation of the BodySafe Programme - Rape Crisis (Auckland) Inc

BodySafe is a secondary school based education programme that aims to reduce the incidence of sexual abuse and rape within teenaged populations. The BodySafe Programme is implemented in the context of the NZ secondary schools' Health and Physical Education Curriculum.

The focus of the programme is on youth in the Auckland region, and particularly Maori, Pacific and other minority ethnic groups. SHORE & Whariki evaluators will assess the impact of the BodySafe programme to the present and use this information for the development of formative evaluation systems to inform the monitoring of the programme’s effectiveness and outcomes in preventing and reducing sexual violence and assaults experienced by young people in the Auckland region.
